Leonora Johnson's letter scraps are one of those GTA V collectibles that don't feel like busywork. You're not just hoovering up icons on a map—you're poking around places you'd normally blow past at 90 mph. If you're coming back to the game for a fresh run, it's a nice change of pace, especially if you're also grinding cash on the side with GTA 5 Money in the back of your mind. Here are five scraps you can grab without turning it into an all-night mission.
1) The green-roof shack in the industrial stretchStart in the industrial area and keep your eyes peeled for a small standalone shack with a tired-looking green roof. It's the kind of building you'd ignore because there's nothing "mission" about it. Park up, hop out, and climb onto the roof—no fancy route, just mantle up the side. The scrap is sitting out in the open up there, glowing like it wants you to notice it. Grab it and you're back in the driver's seat in seconds.
2) The tiny offshore rockNext, head to the coast and look for a small rocky island just off the shoreline. You don't need to overthink it. If you've got a Seashark nearby, great; if not, swimming works fine. Clamber up the rocks and you'll spot the scrap lying right on the dirt, like somebody dropped it and never came back. It's quick, quiet, and it's a nice excuse to get away from sirens for a minute.
3) Backyard porch pickup and the dumpster hopFor the third one, roll into a calm residential pocket and walk straight onto the property like you live there. No alarms, no cutscene, no drama. Head around back and check the porch steps—the scrap sits right there by the door, almost silly in how obvious it is. Then go for something messier: hunt through commercial back alleys until you find a big open dumpster stuffed with bin bags. Vault up, step onto the trash pile, and snag the scrap sitting on top. Try not to stare at what's "leaking" out of the bags.
4) Crane climb downtownSave a bit of patience for the last one in this set: the skyscraper construction site in downtown, with that huge yellow crane you can't miss. Start climbing and don't stop—ladder after ladder, little platforms, more ladder. It takes a while, and yeah, it can feel like the game's testing your attention span. But the scrap's up on the top platform, and the view is worth the effort. I usually take a second up there, then bail off the edge and parachute down, feeling like I earned it. If you're trying to keep the replay moving while still chasing collectibles, this is also the kind of session where it helps to buy GTA 5 Money so you can spend more time exploring and less time repeating the same grind.
